It’s possible that Ryan Reynolds is a married man once again.  I hear that he and Blake Lively got married this past Sunday in South Carolina.  Blake is 25 and Ryan is 35, they’ve been dating for about a year.  According to my source Blake’s friend Florence Welch from Florence and the Machine performed three songs live at the wedding.  If it’s true this will be Blake’s first marriage and Ryan’s second (he was previously married to Scarlett Johansson).

Speaking of Scarlett she was spotted at the Democratic National Convention last week holding hands with Jared Leto.  The two of them were once together.  Scarlett’s rep says it was nothing though.  Apparently they’re still good friends and Scarlett is still dating her boyfriend Nate Taylor, an ad executive.

Kristen Stewart made her public debut at the Toronto International Film Festival over the weekend.  The closest anyone got to questioning her about Robert Pattinson and the cheating scandal was when one reporter asked about "some awkward public appearances" that she will be making with Rob as they promote Breaking Dawn - Part II this fall.  Kristen replied, "We're going to be fine. We're totally fine." Kristen opened up about stepping out publicly in the wake of the scandal, explaining, "I was a little nervous, obviously. I'm always nervous before a red carpet. To be honest, I was just kind of telling myself, like, just don't back out. Be there, don't just figuratively put your head down and barrel through it. Be there, appreciate it."
 

Apparently she was feeling pretty good about being out.  I’m told she was flirting it up big time with James Franco.  Kristen was surrounded by bodyguards, but that didn’t dampen the friction between them.  They chatted for about 20 minutes before James extended a dinner invitation to her.  My source tells me James thinks Kristen is beautiful, and an amazing actress. 

Simon Cowell seems like he’s got his act together, but don’t be fooled, he feels the heat in the kitchen.  In fact I’m told he almost suffered a breakdown this past summer.  There has been a lot of pressure on him with X Factor and it really got to him.  His doctor allegedly removed all of his supplements from his diet and got him to quit smoking.  Apparently Simon told friends, quote, “I desperately need peace. I’m craving  normality. I’ve got to work out my demons and come out of it. I have to get back to where I was years ago. I had to stop reading texts at three in the morning and making calls later and later.”  Meanwhile, regarding X Factor, the big rumour is that Khloe Kardashian is the frontrunner to replace Steve Jones as the host.  We will see. 

I do believe that this request could ultimately come between Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.  Maybe not right now, but down the road.  Kanye has reportedly asked Kim to give up Botox.  As you may recall, Kanye's mother died of heart disease after undergoing cosmetic surgery in 2007 so he's not a fan of cosmetic surgery of any kind.  My source says Kanye made Kim realize she's still young enough that she doesn't need it.  Now that she's spending more time with Kanye, Kim realizes she got caught up in a very Hollywood approach to beauty.

In other Kim news she got a good dose of humility on Thursday night.  She hosted a club party in Charlotte, North Carolina, after the Democratic National Convention.  The event was heavily hyped as THE place to be after the convention.  Unfortunately only 50 people showed up.  Kim Tweeted a photo of a half-empty champagne glass, along with the caption, "It's that kinda night."  Apparently the singer of the house band ticked her off by saying, quote, "This place is empty!"  Kim and her posse left after about two hours.

Heidi Klum continues to defend herself against accusations her estranged husband, Seal made in regards to her cheating on him with their bodyguard.  Actually what he said was she was quote, "fornicating with the help."  Of his comment Heidi says, quote, "It was a unique choice of words . . . I'm used to it.  Other people aren't.  When we were together, I never looked at another man."

A 40-year-old man armed with a pair of scissors was arrested trying to get into Miley Cyrus’ Los Angeles home early Saturday morning.  Jason Luis Rivera jumped a fence with a big heart hanging around his neck.  Someone called 911 but it wasn't Miley, because she wasn't even home.  Jason was booked for trespassing and burglary.  It's not clear if he wanted to use the scissors on Miley.  They were small and not very menacing.  It appears that he just happened to have them in his back pocket.  He told police he wanted to meet Miley.  Oh, and he also told them they're married . . . quote, "I am friends with Miley Cyrus.  I am.  She's my wife.  Me and Miley have been friends for five years."
