Lorde Fans are MAD at Taylor Swift!
Lorde fans are taking to Twitter to accuse Taylor Swift of destroying the quirky New Zealand musician's sound. The backlash comes in the wake of Lorde releasing her new single "Green Light" last week. "Sounds like Taylor Swift puked into my ears. How could you do this to me, Lorde?" one tweeted. Another complained, "'Green Light' doesn't even sound like a Lorde song. It sounds like a Taylor Swift song." It's fair to note that any resemblance in the two singers' respective sounds is likely due to the fact that Jack Antonoff produced "Green Light" as well as many of the hits off Taylor's 1989. For what it's worth, Taylor made it clear upon the release of "Green Light" that she was a huge fan of the song. "Just gonna make up an interpretive dance to this magnificent bop for the ages," she wrote on Instagram last week alongside an image of the single's cover art.
Speaking of Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran has revealed that he will be working with his "best friend" Taylor once again with new music possibly coming later this year. The last time Ed and Taylor created music together was with the release of the hit single “Everything Has Changed” in 2013. However, Ed has let it slip that he would "definitely" be collaborating with Taylor again.

Chance the Rapper has followed through with his promise to help out his hometown of Chicago by donating $1 million to Chicago Public Schools. "As a kid from West Chatham, from the South Side literally three blocks away from here, it's pretty serendipitous to be here today,” Chance said while discussing his donation during a press conference on Monday. Chance, whose real name is Chancellor Bennett, also called upon private businesses and corporations to donate money to the school system, saying that for every $100,000 in donations he will donate an additional $10,000 to individual schools to further support arts education. According to The Los Angeles Times, the bulk of Chance’s donation will come from ticket sales from his upcoming tour.
In a recent interview Emma Watson has revealed that she and her Harry Potter co-stars still keep in touch. In fact, they have WhatsApp. She says she invited them all to the screening of Beauty and the Beast and that they are all very supportive of each other. Emma also revealed that playing Hermione was easier than playing Belle. She said she was so young when she did Harry Potter that it was kind of an ‘ignorance is bliss’ situation… with Beauty and the Beast she was all too aware that she would be part of people’s childhood.
One child who was all over the Beauty and the Beast premiere Sunday night was Blue Ivy Carter. The daughter of Beyoncé and Jay Z hit the premiere with her parents. Blue was rocking a modified version of Gucci's velvet trimmed dress from the Fall 2016 collection, which is embroidered with parrots and snakes and is embellished with crystals and faux pearls. Meanwhile, her pregnant mama Beyoncé wore a matching empire-waist chiffon gown that highlighted her growing belly and paired it with Alaia's $1,760 studded patent-leather sandals. While Queen and Blue skipped the red carpet, they appeared to take several photos inside the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood.
Chrissy Teigen has revealed in an emotional essay for Glamour that she struggled with postpartum depression following the birth of daughter Luna 10 months ago. "I had everything I needed to be happy. And yet, for much of the last year, I felt unhappy...I would go two days without a bite of food, and you know how big of a deal food is for me," writes Teigen. "How can I feel this way when everything is so great? I've had a hard time coming to terms with that, and I hesitated to even talk about this." She adds that after receiving her diagnosis, "I started taking an antidepressant, which helped...Postpartum does not discriminate. I couldn't control it."
In a new interview, Alec Baldwin says he doesn’t plan to do his impression of President Donald Trump for much longer. “Trump just overwhelmingly lacks any sportsmanship, he remains, bitter, and angry, and you just want to look at him and go, ‘You won!' His policies aside, which you can hate, I thought he would have just relaxed,” Baldwin notes, “…[And] the maliciousness of this White House has people worried, which is why I’m not going to do it much longer, the impersonation, I don’t know how much more people can take it.” Baldwin also addresses rumors that he might fill in for Trump at the upcoming White House Correspondents’ Dinner, adding, "I don't think that they want that.”
Welcome to another edition of Movies That Should Not Be Made. Today's film is a remake of "Overboard", starring Anna Faris.
The original came out in 1987, and it starred real-life couple Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell. Kurt played a down-on-his luck carpenter who gets stiffed on a job by Goldie, who's a spoiled, filthy rich you-know-what.
When Goldie falls off her yacht and gets amnesia, her A-hole husband uses the opportunity to run out on her. So Kurt fakes some paperwork and poses as her husband.
He takes her home to his shack, where he makes her do chores and take care of his feral kids. Hilarity ensues . . . as does an eventual love connection.
In the remake, the genders are switched. Anna will play a working class single mom, while a guy you've never heard of named Eugenio Derbez plays a wealthy Mexican playboy she plays that trick on.
