Nicole Kidman Explains Her Seal Clap
Ana says Louis’ fans have harassed her on social media including making death threats and sending abusive messages to members of her family.
Kristen Stewart is proud of her sexuality. The 26-year-old had an unofficial coming out party on Saturday Night Live last month, referring to herself as “so gay.” Now, she is opening up about why she chose to embrace her sexuality on such a public stage.
"Honestly, I think it was just funny," she shared with E! News. "Not to diminish the point because I think that saying things so bluntly is absolutely important, but at the same time, the only reason I haven't ever done that is because there is an ambiguity to that and I wanted things to be really real for me."
In retrospect, Kristen explains that the big reveal wasn’t intentionally epic. But the fact that she did it helped her, and it helped others.
She explained: "It wasn't like, 'Let's do this thing that's going to be so important.' I just thought it was like a nice, light... and also yeah, I'm so utterly proud that I've had so many people be like, 'Thank you,' and I'm like, 'No, thank you.' It's kind of mutual, full circle."
Kristen has been doing a lot of talking about her sex life. She recently explained why she was so private about her relationship with former Twilight costar Robert Pattinson: “I didn’t talk about my first relationships that went public because I wanted things that are mine to be mine. I hated it that details of my life were being turned into a commodity and peddled around the world.”
Kristen kicked off the honest streak in July, when she revealed that she had an on-again, off-again girlfriend.
Jennifer Lopez isn’t single anymore. Several of my sources say she has hooked up with New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez. Some sources say they’ve been together for a few months, but People is saying it’s only been a few weeks. That’s a more likely timeline because Jennifer was hooking up with Drake right up until she caught him having dinner in Amsterdam with a French nude model named Rosee Divine at the end of January.
A-Rod has two daughters, 12 and 8, from his first marriage. He's also been linked to Madonna, Cameron Diaz, Kate Hudson, and WWE wrestler Torrie Wilson. He just got out of a relationship with a tech CEO named Anne Wojcicki.
J-Lo has 9-year-old twins, Max and Emme, with her third husband, Marc Anthony.
O.J. Simpson randomly became a pop culture sensation again last year. The show "The People v. O.J. Simpson" won nine Emmys . . . and the documentary "O.J.: Made in America" just won an Oscar.
And now, O.J. may be getting out. According to a report, O.J. could be released from prison as early as October 1st of THIS year.
It isn't a sure thing . . . the Nevada Board of Parole Commissioners says there's going to be a hearing sometime this summer, probably in July. And at that point, things could be set in motion.
It's unclear what the likelihood of that is, but there are a few things working in his favour: He's considered a 'low-risk' parolee . . . he's been on good behavior behind bars . . . and he's going to turn 70 years old this summer.
O.J. has been in prison since 2008. He's serving a nine-to-33-year sentence for that bizarre incident in a Las Vegas hotel in 2007, where he and some armed 'associates' confronted a couple of memorabilia dealers.
O.J. was convicted of kidnapping, armed robbery, and assault with a deadly weapon, but he claims he was just trying to recover stuff that was stolen from him, and that he didn't know the guys he was with had guns.
In the new issue of Shape magazine, Eva Mendes reveals that she's ridiculously disciplined about her diet. "For lunch, I usually have salmon and rice or quinoa, and I try to include a salad. I’ll eat the same thing for dinner," she explains. "I’m a creature of habit in that way. I don’t get bored with food. I try to think about it as fuel for my body." The 43-year-old actress, who has two daughters with Ryan Gosling, also shares that she wears makeup "every single day" and works out three to five times a week. Despite spending all that time on feeling and looking fabulous, Eva admits that she's more than happy to let Ryan enjoy big outings on his own. (The La La Land star brought his sister as his date to the Oscars last month.) "What people don’t know about me is that I love being home," Mendes notes. "Instead of hitting the red carpet, I’d rather be with our girls."
The second-biggest controversy at this year's "Oscars" was Nicole Kidman clapping like some kind of alien creature that had never been asked to show adulation for another being before.
Well, we finally have an explanation. She didn't want to damage her borrowed jewelry. She told an Australian radio show, "It was really awkward. I was like, 'I wanna clap, I don't wanna not be clapping.'
"That'd be worse, right? Like 'Why isn't Nicole clapping?' So therefore I'm clapping but it was really difficult because I had a huge ring on that was not mine, but it was absolutely gorgeous, and I was terrified of damaging it."
Gwyneth Paltrow has been raked over the coals for her bizarre health and beauty advice, particularly through her Goop website.
She's recommended vaginal steaming . . . putting jade eggs inside your nether regions . . . face-ironing . . . and peeing in the shower.
But Gwyneth couldn't care less if you mock her for it. In an interview with "Women's Health", she said, "When you're at the forefront of something that's new, people can get really reactive, 'This is crazy! Why are you doing this?'
"Then, five years later, everyone's fine with it . . . the only time criticism hurts is if you have a judgment about yourself about that very thing . . . It's a blessing to be liberated from the chains of other people's perceptions of you. It's part of wellness, working at that . . . I've gotten to a point where I like myself. I do my best as a person. I also have nothing to hide."
She says she was the only person at Goop willing to try the jade eggs at first, but now they're sold out and there's a 4,000-person waiting list.
Prince Harry's friends are reportedly mercilessly mocking him for starting to wax his chest after getting together with Meghan Markle. "Harry’s been seen as a ‘man’s man’ all his adult life, so this has come as shock to his close friends," according to my source, "They all think his new grooming methods are to down to his desire to look his shiny best for Meghan. His chest is now like something you’d see from guys in Baywatch--but without the tan." The 32-year-old royal was often seen sorting a rugged, hairy look until he hooked up with the 35-year-old actress last summer. Since then, he's apparently gone chest-hair free.
