Chelsea Handler is All About Tinder
Chelsea Handler has no qualms about admitting that she uses Tinder to meet dudes when she's on the road. "Oh, I'm on all those apps," she tells Entertainment Tonight. "I like to hook up, so when I go to London or New York or if I'm out of town and I want, I'll do that." The 42-year-old comedian adds that she typically looks for partners who are in a "seven-mile radius." Handler also dishes on why she appreciates that she isn't in a relationship right now. "I think it's really important to embrace your singledom when you are single because most of us aren't going to be single forever," she explains. "People are always worried about the thing that they don't have or the opposite of the situation that they are in, so when you are single, I would encourage women to really have fun with it and not always worry about when you're going to meet a guy or try so hard because they are everywhere." Handler goes on to admit that she enjoys doing "whatever I want" and that a man would need to be "pretty spectacular" for her to consider giving up her freedom. "I don't have any fear of commitment or anything--I just have a very high value for my freedom and my professional life," she notes. "I don't spend a lot of time thinking about boys."
Former One Directioner Louis Tomlinson won’t face charges after attacking a paparazzo back in March. According to Entertainment Tonight, the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office confirmed the singer won’t be charged for the attack on Tuesday. However, the office reserves the right to file charges up to one year from the date of the incident. "All parties involved will be sent a letter today setting a hearing date at the end of the month," the City Attorney's Office said in a statement. "Each of the parties will be interviewed regarding the incident and advised of the law and ways to avoid similar incidences in the future." Tomlinson was arrested for battery on March 3 at Los Angeles International Airport after an altercation with a paparazzo near the baggage claim area.
Dennis Quad was on "Watch What Happens Live" this week, and Andy Cohen played a little game called "Menacing the Dennis", where he just asked him a bunch of personal questions.
He asked Dennis if he's ever had a threesome, and the answer was YES. Then he asked Dennis what he's packing, and he said, quote, "I never had any complaints, let's put it that way." (Here's video.) Jemima Kirke from "Girls" was also on the show, and she was eating the whole thing up.
They also talked about sex scenes, and whether it's worse when the guy gets aroused, or when he doesn't. Jemima said, quote, "They're both awful."
Dennis said it rarely happens for him. Jemima asked him if he "popped one" during "The Big Easy", when he and Ellen Barkin go to town, and he wouldn't say.
When music icon Michael Jackson died, he reportedly had specific wishes for each of his children stipulated in his will.
Now Paris Jackson, 19, an up-and-coming model and actress who has taken charge of her own life as an adult, is concerned that her late father’s wishes for her brother Blanket are not being followed.
Blanket, who is still a minor at age 15, is essentially living alone without supervision in his grandmother Katherine Jackson’s Calabasas home, the report alleges.
Katherine, who is the official a guardian for Blanket, has been staying with her daughter Rebbie in L.A. after spending months in London testifying against her nephew in an elder abuse case.
Katherine reportedly hasn’t spoken with any of Michael’s kids since she left for London and Paris blames Rebbie and other relatives for separating Katherine from Paris and her siblings, Prince, Blanket and TJ.
All is not lost, however, my source tells me that Blanket is getting mostly A’s at his private school and appears to be coming out of his shell socially.
A professor will use Kanye West as a case study on how society perceives mental illness. Professor Jeffrey McCune teaches the course, Politics of Kanye West: Black Genius and Sonic Aesthetics, at Washington University in St. Louis. For Jeffrey’s third and final lecture, he will cover Kanye’s 2016 mental breakdown and hospitalization in a class titled, Name One Genius That Ain’t Crazy: Kanye West and the Politics of Self-Diagnosis. Jeffrey says, “I want to give people permission to be enraged. Give people permission to be upset, to be angry, to be frustrated.” He continues, “Give people permission to have moments where they break. Give people permission to have moments where they experience depression. I want to give them permission to have those moments without being characterized as being some type of deviant figure in the community. I don’t want to take away that experience and call it crazy. It’s reasonable. And it must be addressed with love, compassion, care, generosity.” The free lecture will be held today at 6:00 p.m. local time and is open to the public.
Michael Buble’s wife told reporters her son is “well” following his cancer battle. She said, “My son’s recovery is a long process as you all know and he has to continue with checkups. But we are very happy. We are looking forward to thinking about the future, to seeing our children grow.”
According to my source, Amal Clooney has kicked her husband George out of the bedroom… luckily it’s only because she is in her third trimester and is finding sleep difficult. Amal is pregnant with twins and I guess sleeping with George isn’t the best… apparently he snores.
Former Hollywood business manager, Jonathan Schwartz, penned a letter of apology to his clients and community after pleading guilty to charges relating to embezzling millions from his clients. He wrote the open letter for The Hollywood Reporter, which tells his side of the story and involves his gambling addiction after turning to sports betting to blow off some steam from his job. Alanis Morissette, a former client, released a statement in regards to his open letter. “I would be apprehensive to believe any words that come out of Jonathan Schwartz’s mouth,” Alanis said. Mr. Schwart stole $4.8 million from Alanis and $7 million overall. He worked with the singer from 2009 to 2016, and was sued by the Alanis in May 2016 for draining her assets. Mr.Schwartz is set to be sentenced on May 3rd.
Nancy Kerrigan was extremely eager to become a mom, but the route there was heartbreaking.
Nancy got emotional on Monday night’s Dancing With the Stars, revealing that she had suffered a devastating six miscarriages in eight years before eventually having the three children she has today.
She told the audience, "Since I was 10 years old, I always wanted three kids by the time I was 30, sort of like what my mom had done. I had six miscarriages in eight years. It was really hard, actually. It almost felt shameful I think because I couldn't do it on my own."
The Olympic medalist married Jerry Solomon in 1995 and shortly after had Matthew, 19.
Nancy also sits down with People magazine to discuss how she wanted more and got pregnant soon after, but lost the child in a miscarriage that she describes as being “pretty awful.”
After eight years of miscarriages, the couple went through in vitro fertilization and ultimately had Brian, 11 and Nicole, 8.
Nancy also discusses how she coped with being clubbed in the knee weeks before she was to compete in the 1994 Winter Olympics.
