From what I hear, Celine Dion has a new man in her life. He is a 32-year-old dancer named Pepe Muñoz. He is Spanish. He is gorgeous. And he is super talented. Not only is he a passionate dancer, he is also a fashion illustrator. You can check him out on Instagram here.
Speaking of Celine, yesterday Vogue released all of these short videos featuring Celine in haute couture… they are so captivating! You can watch them here.
Something from Usher’s past flared up again. Court papers surfaced showing that Usher had to pay a woman $1.1 million several years ago, because he gave her the gift that keeps on giving… Herpes.
The woman in question sued Usher, claiming he knew he was infected when they had unprotected sex.
In her lawsuit she said she, “feels that her health and body have been ruined,” and she suffers from depression and emotional distress.
They settled the lawsuit in December of 2012. In addition to the $1.1 million, Usher paid $2,754.40 of her medical bills.
Usher was reportedly diagnosed in 2009 or 2010, around the time he was divorcing his first wife Tameka Foster. He got remarried in 2015, to a woman named Grace Miguel. Let this be a warning… PROTECT YO’ SELF!
According to my source, Beyoncé and Jay-Z have hired 18 new employees to help them care for their newborn twins. The extra staff apparently includes, six nannies, two maids, and a 24/7 rotating team of nurses. Rumi and Sir “even have a financial investment advisor working for them, setting up trademarks and trusts in the babies’ names. They’ve also employed an expert to establish social media names and tags for the babies. Bey and Jay’s entourage just got a hell of lot bigger, thanks to the twins, but they have the cash to do it.”
Could Britney Spears be walking down the isle for the third time?! That’s what I hear. My source tells me that she is head over heels in love with her boyfriend Sam Asghari and thinks he would be the perfect partner and also the perfect stepfather to her kids, Sean and Jayden. Apparently, Britney has gone as far as to buy herself a ring that she’s been wearing everywhere.
Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington was found dead, of an apparent suicide, yesterday morning, at his home in L.A. He was just 41.
His body was discovered by a housekeeper at around 9:00 A.M. It’s unclear if there was a suicide note.
His death came as a shock to everyone. He’d just arrived back in L.A. on Wednesday, after spending some time in Arizona with his wife, Talinda. They’ve been married for 11 years. He was married once before . . . and he had six kids, including five-year-old twins.
The band was also surprised. At about the exact same time Chester’s body was discovered, they released a video for “Talking to Myself”.
And also at that time, a bandmate was driving to his house to pick him up for a photo shoot. Linkin Park was launching a tour next Thursday. So, since he hadn’t been isolated from his family or the band, if he was struggling, he was apparently doing a good job of hiding it. Obviously, the tour will probably be canceled.
Chester struggled with a lot of drugs over the years . . . including opium, crack, cocaine, meth, and LSD. He’s also said that he was an alcoholic. But in 2011, he said he was sober.
There’s no indication yet that he was on anything at the time of his death.
About 10 years ago, he said he’d considered committing suicide because he was abused as a child by an older male friend. He said it happened between the ages of seven and 13, and that it became violent by the end.
We may never know the extent of the demons that caused Chester to commit suicide, but it’s worth noting that it seems like Chris Cornell’s death played a role.
Chester and Chris were very close friends . . . and of course Chris committed suicide the same way, by hanging himself, just two months ago.
And yesterday, the day Chester’s body was found, was Chris’s birthday. He would’ve been 53. This could be a coincidence, but Chester was affected by Chris’ death so much, that it’s hard to ignore.
The day of Chris’ death, Chester said, “I’m still weeping, with sadness, as well as gratitude for having shared some very special moments with you . . . you have inspired me in many ways you could never have known . . . I can’t imagine a world without you in it. I pray you find peace in the next life.”
Yesterday, Chris’ wife Tweeted this after hearing about Chester’s death, writing, “Just when I thought my heart couldn’t break any more . . . I love you, T.”
One last note: Earlier this year, Chester said, “Where I’m at right now in 2017 is as far on the opposite side of the scale to where I was at this time in 2015. I literally hated life and I was like, ‘I don’t want to have feelings.’ And now I’m like, ‘Bring it on!'” He said this in March, two months before Chris’ death.
Ever since ABC announced that they were bringing back “American Idol”, it seemed inevitable that Ryan Seacrest would be back as the host . . . even though he’s juggling like 18 jobs right now.
And Ryan finally made it official on “Live with Kelly and Ryan” yesterday. He compared it to being in a 15-year relationship . . . breaking up . . . and then getting back together.
My source tells me Ryan was negotiating with the show for three months, because he wanted $10 to $15 million, plus an executive producer credit. Supposedly, he did not get the credit, and his pay will be closer to $10 mil.
There’s still no word who will be joining Katy Perry at the judges’ table.
Chris Noth is arguably best known for playing “Mr. Big” on Sex and the City, and he can’t believe that people are still talking about the show considering it ended in 2004. He recently said, “It’s the gift that keeps on giving I guess–or the stench that won’t get off me.” He added, “It was a phenomenon that I didn’t expect,” I was in Budapest shooting a show and I was like, Holy cow, did they just get Sex and the City? This is like 10 years over, guys.”
That ex-boyfriend of Madonna’s who supplied her worn panties to an auction house isn’t pleased about the court order blocking the sale. Peter Shue plans on fighting the order. He says they were given to him as a gift so he should be able to do whatever he wants with them. He also put it out there that if she wants to buy them from him he will listen to her offer.
Taylor Swift and her legal team scored a small victory in their legal battle with David Mueller, a former Denver radio host who allegedly groped the singer during a 2013 meet-and-greet. On Wednesday, a federal judge sanctioned David for destroying multiple electronic devices containing key evidence in the case. David sued Taylor in September 2015 claiming the pop star cost him his job after she claimed he groped her during a meet-and-greet session. In court documents, David admitted Taylor had been groped but blamed a “superior.”
