A judge has ruled that Ed Sheeran must provide “concert revenue and expenses” details related to performances of “Thinking Out Loud.” The order comes as part of a lawsuit alleging the song infringes on the copyright of Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s Get It On.” Ed’s lawyer had contended his client was in the clear because venues had licenses to allow performances of “Let’s Get It On.” The judge issuing the order disagreed.
