The man that brought David Letterman on stage for years has passed away. Alan Kalter was the announcer for the “Late Show With David Letterman” on CBS. Alan died on Monday at the age of 78. He was Letterman’s announcer from 1995 until Letterman left CBS in 2015.

Chadwick Boseman’s legacy at Howard University and his prospective impact on future generations continues to grow. Netflix has partnered with the university to establish a $5.4 million scholarship in the late actor’s name. The Chadwick A. Boseman Memorial Scholarship will provide incoming students in the newly re-established College of Fine Arts with a 4-year scholarship to cover the full cost of university tuition.
