From the pool of upcoming talent in North America & Mena regions, Mazyn is one rising fast with fans giving noticeable attention to his sound. Bringing a certain flair & excitement to the game in his own way. Between living in the Middle East then Canada, his love for music helped him discover himself. From having soccer dreams to finding his voice as an introverted young kid, Mazyn’s songwriting exudes an honest and personal experience that the listener can relate to and connect with emotionally. While doing so in multiple languages, he also keeps it interesting with a growing catalogue of songs that is both versatile and catchy which helped him land features on Virgin Radio Dubai, Spotify’s “Arab X” & “Northern Bars” Editorial Playlists & a slew of tastemaking blogs as well as being nominated as Hip Hop Artist of the year by Faces Magazine in Canada’s capital city, Ottawa. Mazyn started writing raps in his dorm room as an Egyptian international student as a form of coping with homesickness, anxiety, and college stress – which eventually turned into songs he began to share with the world under his previous artist name “Capé”. However, it seems like making music in his second language (English) wasn’t enough for the young artist. During the past couple of years he’s been sharpening his skills with some Arabic releases such as “Fayadan” and “Ala Fain”, embracing his roots and quickly becoming a growing voice in his community making it clear from the get-go that he is paving his own lane.
