My name is Nicholas Pedersen, I go by Neeque and I proudly represent Ottawa, Ontario. I’m 23 years old and at age 16 I began my pursuit with music. After I bought my first mic, I would come home and make music as a direct outlet for struggles with mental health and expressing the experiences I live and breathe each day. A personal relationship and new found love grew. It became a light within darkness. As the years continued to pass, naturally progress was made. For 7 years of creating underground (in a literal sense for 3 of them), I remained patient knowing my debut release had to be the one. My debut single Gr8ness is exactly this. Lyrics, vocals, engineering, and production are all done by myself from scratch. This dream is moving simultaneous with my pursuit in middle distance running – my current personal bests are 14:55 over 5K and 31:46 for 10K with plans on going professional and qualifying for Team Canada.
