Eddie Murphy is set to portray the funk legend George Clinton in an upcoming biopic directed by Bill Condon. Based on Clinton’s memoir, “Brothas Be, Yo Like George, Ain’t That Funkin’ Kinda Hard On You?”, the film will trace his journey from 1940s North Carolina to becoming the iconic Godfather of Funk.
“Venom: The Last Dance” retained its top position at the box office, earning $26.1 million in its second weekend and bringing its domestic total to $90 million as part of the “Venom” trilogy.
