Disney has started to get fans excited about the release of “Moana 2”. On Thursday, Disney Music released “Beyond,” the very first song from the “Moana 2” soundtrack. The song is described as the sequel’s “I Wish” song. “Beyond” is an epic ballad performed by Auli’i Cravalho, the voice of Moana, featuring Oceanic music group Te Vaka.
Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan and Chris Stapleton are among the performers just announced for The 58th Annual CMA Awards. ABC also announced that in addition, the roster includes Sierra Hull, Bronwyn Keith-Hynes, Ashley McBryde, Post Malone, Shaboozey, Teddy Swims, Thomas Rhett, Molly Tuttle, and Lainey Wilson. The event is set to air live from Nashville on November 20.
BTS member V will release a remix of Bing Cosby’s 1942 holiday classic ‘White Christmas’, on which he will duet with the late artist. Out December 6, and in partnership with the Bing Crosby Estate, it is described as an “era-bridging” collab, coming 47 years after Bing’s last cross-generational duet, 1977’s ‘Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy’ with David Bowie.
“Alien: Romulus”, will be available on Hulu starting November 21 after a 98-day theatrical release. Directed by Fede Alvarez, the film earned $105.3M domestically and $350.8M globally. This sequel is set 20 years after the original.
CBS extended the seasons of “Poppa’s House” and “NCIS: Origins” from 13 to 18 episodes each. These complete the full season orders for all 4 new scripted series, which include “Matlock” and “Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage”.
Michael Jackson’s highly anticipated biopic, “Michael”, directed by Antoine Fuqua, has been delayed until October 2025 from its original release date in April. The delay is speculated to position the film for the awards season.
After Ariana Grande’s recent pivot back to musical theater to star in “Wicked”, she now plans to scale back her pop career to continue focusing on acting. “I’m always going to make music, I’m always going to go on stage, I’m always going to do pop stuff, I pinky promise. But I don’t think doing it at the rate I’ve been doing it for the past 10 years.”
Early next year, Gino Vannelli will release his first studio album since 2019. He just dropped the first single ‘Keep on Walking’, a rearranged version of a song he released in 1974, and ‘The Life I Got (To My Most Beloved)’, written about his wife Patricia’s cancer battle, which she lost earlier this year.

The “Star Wars” story will continue with a brand-new trilogy. Lucasfilm is developing three upcoming “Star Wars” movies. The last trilogy ended with 2019’s “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker”. Simon Kinberg is writing and producing the new films.
Mark Wahlberg’s new Las Vegas restaurant, Flecha Cantina, faced a large fire on its patio on Wednesday, which was attributed to a defective fire pit. Fortunately, the blaze was promptly extinguished by the fire crew, with no interior damage to the restaurant and no injuries reported.
Ryan Reynolds denied the recent rumors that he and Hugh Jackman will be hosting the 2025 Oscars, but he’s open to doing it in the future. “Historically speaking, that is a difficult job, you know,” the actor said in an interview with Variety. “It would be a dream to do it one day. I’ll say that.” He also emphasized his intention to spend more time with his family in the coming year. The Oscars air live on March 2 on ABC.
Macaulay Culkin will have a recurring role in Season 2 of Prime Video’s hit series “Fallout”, based on the popular video game franchise. Details about his character are not yet available, but it’s described as a “crazy genius type.”
Bill Maher’s new comedy special, “Is Anyone Else Seeing This?” premieres on HBO in January. Filmed in Chicago, it will be his 13th stand-up special for HBO. The special will address American politics and Bill’s personal life.
