She posted a sultry pic celebrating herself in which she’s wearing nothing but a black leather hat, matching hot pants and strappy stiletto heels. With her right hand covering her bare breasts and her left hand resting on her bare thigh, she captioned the black and white snap “Birthday Suit #44.”
The University of Iowa will retire Caitlin Clark’s #22 Hawkeyes jersey on February 2. IU Athletics shared, “Caitlin Clark has not only redefined excellence on the court but has also inspired countless young athletes to pursue their dreams with passion and determination… Hawkeye fans are eager to say thank you for so many incredible moments.” Caitlin not only won back-to-back Final Four and National Championship games, but she’s also the NCAA’s all-time scorer.
Sony Animation and Netflix are collaborating on a new “Ghostbusters” animated film, with Kris Pearn attached to direct. The project is still in early stages, and plot details are under wraps.
“Sonic the Hedgehog 4” is already in development, slated for a spring 2027 release. “Sonic 3” hits theaters today. The franchise has earned over $725 million globally thus far, and launched the Paramount+ series “Knuckles” in 2021.
HBO renewed “Dune: Prophecy” for Season 2 just before Season 1 finale. The prequel, set over 10,000 years before Denis Villeneuve’s movies, is based on the “Sisterhood Of Dune” novel. It stars Emily Watson and Olivia Williams.
Kevin Hart & Kenan Thompson will co-host “2024 Back That Year Up” on Peacock on December 23. The comedic special reviews the year’s highlights, along with celebrity interviews. This marks the third year they’ve hosted the special.
James Gunn’s “Superman” movie had it’s first trailer drop yesterday, and the epic footage introduced many of Gunn’s rebooted versions of iconic DC characters, starting with an immediate fan favorite. It begins with ‘Superman’ crashing into the snow, bloody and battered from an unseen fight. He lets out a whistle — and ‘Krypto’, the super dog, rushes in to save the day. “Superman” opens July 11.
After Daddy Yankee announced that he and Mireddys González were separating after 29 years of marriage, he has filed motions against her, claiming, among other things, that she has withdrawn a total of $100 million from his business accounts without his authorization.
Gracie Abrams picked up an unexpected fan after her performance on “SNL”. Barbra Streisand wrote on Instagram: “I just saw a wonderful new singer named GRACIE ABRAMS on Saturday night live…and it turns out she’s the daughter of my friend JJ Abrams!” Gracie’s dad created the shows “Felicity”, “Alias” and “Lost” and directed “The Force Awakens” and “The Rise of Skywalker”.
Elton John has released a new video for his 1973 holiday classic ‘Step Into Christmas’. It stars actress and model Cara Delevingne as Elton, in a reimagining of what happened behind the scenes of the song’s original performance clip from more than 50 years ago.
Susanna Hoffs and Elvis Costello teamed up on a cover of The Rolling Stones’ ‘Connection’ to celebrate Keith Richards’ 81st birthday on Wednesday. The Bangles’ frontwoman said, “We both wanted to do the Keith part, but I won!” The song, from The Stones’ 1967 album “Between the Buttons”, was written mostly by Keith, and he handled lead vocals.
Nirvana’s “Nevermind” continues to set records, 33 years after its initial release. The trailblazing 1991 album has just become only the ninth release in music history to spend 700 weeks on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
