“Succession” creator Jesse Armstrong has found his next project: an original movie for HBO Films. The 7-time Emmy winner is teaming up with executive producer Frank Rich for the project, which is said to focus on 4 friends who convene during an international financial crisis. Jesse is currently writing the script, with production set to start later this year.
A two-hour concert special celebrating Ringo Starr’s legacy through the lens of country music will air this spring. Proceeds from the all-star performance of “With a Little Help From My Friends” will benefit the American Red Cross and those impacted by the California wildfires. Ringo & Friends at the Ryman will air on CBS and stream on Paramount+. The 84-year-old legend will perform songs from that album, along with solo songs and The Beatles classics.
