The wait is over! Miley Cyrus’s highly anticipated new album, “Something Beautiful”, will be released on May 30, and feature 13 new songs. The “Something Beautiful” artwork serves as “a striking nod to the album’s bold aesthetic and visual storytelling.”
Jonas Brothers dropped some big announcements at JONASCON at American Dream in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The JoBros took a moment in between songs to share a video sneak peek of what’s to come from them during their 20th anniversary this year. “A Very Jonas Christmas” debuts later this year. For Disneyland‘s 70th anniversary celebrations, the Jonas Brothers will release the official theme song, “Celebrate Happy,” on May 13.
Speaking of theme songs, Jonas Brother upcoming song “I Can’t Lose,” will be the theme song for ESPN’s MLB coverage this year. For the album announcements, Joe‘s solo album “Music For People Who Believe In Love”, will be out on May 23. Next, the JoBros will release a new live album on June 13, followed by a new Jonas Brothers studio album titled “Greetings From Your Hometown” on August 8.
George Clooney won’t be a romantic interest in any more movies. The 63-year-old actor told “60 Minutes”, “I’m not trying to compete with 25-year-old leading men. That’s not my job. I’m not doing romantic films anymore.” In a previous interview, he said he hadn’t been in a romantic comedy since 1996.
The legend of skier Lindsey Vonn continues. On Sunday, Lindsey became the oldest woman ever to medal at the Audi FIS Ski World Cup finals. She placed second in the Super G race. She posted on Instagram, “This means so much to me .” After a stellar career that included three Olympic medals and four World Cup titles, she came out of retirement in November 2024, hoping for a shot at the 2026 Winter Games.
“Wicked” has finally made its way to streaming! Released in theatres in November, it grossed over $700 million, and after a VOD release to ring in the new year, the movie musical is now available on NBC’s streamer, Peacock.
Some big-name stars appear in the new video for the Jack Harlow and Doja Cat collab ‘Just Us’. It shows Jack and Doja in a restaurant, getting flirty with each other, and random celebs keep popping up. John Mayer is seen sitting at a table, Matt Damon is getting a drink from the bar and “Succession” actor Nicholas Braun is sitting in a booth with Jack.
May 16, Dire Straits will release a 3-CD expanded edition of their huge 1985 album “Brothers in Arms”. 2 CDs will contain a previously unreleased live recording from the San Antonio stop of the band’s 1985 world tour. The album sold over 30 million copies, and contained the hits ‘Money for Nothing’, ‘So Far Away’ and ‘Walk of Life’.

A Morgan Wallen fan in Texas was scammed out of $18,000 by someone impersonating him online. She first sent the scammer Apple Music gift cards, and then handed over her bank accounts and social security number.
Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s “Luther” claims the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for a fifth consecutive week, extending both artists’ career-long reign at the top of the all-genre singles chart. The Top 10 features a series of strong debuts this week, as Playboi Carti premieres two songs in the Top 5, with “Evil J0rdan” reaching No. 2, and “Rather Lie,” with The Weeknd, claiming No. 4.
Blake Shelton, Eric Church, and Lainey Wilson are the initial performers announced for the 60th Academy of Country Music Awards. The ceremony will take place on May 8 at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, and will be hosted by country legend Reba McEntire.
