Kesha has announced a new album, her first for her new label, Kesha Records. The album is called “Period” arriving on July 4. The new album will feature the singles “Joyride” and “Delusional,” as well as a new song called “Yippee-Ki-Yay” with T-Pain she just dropped! It’s the first-ever collaboration between the two.
Comedian Taylor Tomlinson’s talk show, “After Midnight”, is ending after two seasons. The only female-led late-night TV program will wrap-up in June despite being renewed for a third season. CBS does not plan to fill the time slot with original programming after that. Taylor decided to return her focus to her stand-up comedy and touring.
Will Smith had a street named after him in Philadelphia. He returned to his hometown for the unveiling ceremony. The 2000 block of North 59th Street in Philadelphia’s Overbrook section is now Will Smith Way. Will said, “Nobody gets an easy ride, and that’s one of the things these streets of Philadelphia taught me: that there is nothing wrong with a hard day’s work.”
Timbaland thinks today’s music makers lack feeling and emotion. In a recent interview, Tim said, “This election just divided us. What I mean by that – it divided the music. It sound bland, it sound boring. We talk about AI, but s**t, that’s the only thing that has a pure soul right now that you could create something and express your true feelings, and it comes out beautiful.”
Disney and Gap are bringing the Muppets to your closet. A limited-edition Muppets fashion capsule has launched. Items include t-shirts and sweatshirts featuring Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo, and Animal wearing outfits from Gap’s Spring Essentials collection. The Disney X Gap line is available while supplies last.
Sydney Sweeney and her fiancé Jonathan Davino have called off their wedding, as they face “major issues” in their relationship, Us Weekly reports a source as saying. The insider said that the couple hasn’t “fully split”, and “they aren’t throwing in the towel yet, they are working on their relationship.”
Lady Gaga has announced her “Mayhem Ball” tour, kicking off in July in Las Vegas. According to her, she didn’t plan to tour, aside from a short run of shows, but “the incredible response to the new album inspired me to keep things going.”

CMA Fest’s first round of performers for this year’s massive festival in downtown Nashville have been announced. Taking the main stage at Music City’s Nissan Stadium will be Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini, Jason Aldean and Dierks Bentley. Also taking the big stage during the event, set for June 5-8, will be Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Darius Rucker, Rascal Flatts and Brooks & Dunn.
If you have a teenager, there’s a decent chance they’ve been in mental hibernation ever since BTS went on hiatus almost three years ago. They’ll be back soon enough . . . word has it, they could reunite sometime this year. But in the meantime, they’re coming after the NEXT generation. BTS is lending their music to the newest “Rockabye Baby!” album of LULLABIES. It’s coming out next Friday, and it’ll include lullaby renditions of “Butter”, “Permission to Dance”, “Life Goes On”, “Boy with Luv”, and “Dynamite”.
A taxi driver in London picked up Harry Styles, and didn’t realize it. She posted a photo of them together, and said, “Picked up this young fella on my way home tonight. We got chatting and I said ‘You really sound like Harry Styles.’ He said, ‘That’s because I am Harry Styles.'”
The new “Hunger Games” prequel book, “Sunrise on the Reaping”, has sold over 1.5 million copies worldwide. It’ll get a film adaptation that’s set to come out November 20, 2026.
Hallmark Media and the NFL will collaborate on a new holiday movie titled “Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story”. Scheduled for Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas in 2025, filming will take place in Buffalo, New York, including at the Highmark Stadium. This follows the Hallmark’s successful partnership with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2024 for “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story”
CBS is renewing the medical drama “Watson”, starring Morris Chestnut, for a second season. The show’s first season has seen strong ratings, with over 18.7 million cross-platform viewers, and averaging nearly 6.8 million linear viewers per episode. The series follows Dr. John Watson as he returns to medicine after Sherlock Holmes‘ death.
Duke University distanced itself from “The White Lotus” due to a Jason Isaacs wearing their apparel in a disturbing scene where he contemplates killing his wife to avoid going to prison. The university officials expressed concern over the unauthorized use of their trademarks, stating it creates confusion and does not align with their values.
Taylor Sheridan’s “Yellowstone” universe may expand onto CBS with a potential new series starring Luke Grimes as Kayce Dutton. The procedural show is still in early stages, with no deals confirmed. It would likely explore Kayce’s Navy SEAL background. This new spinoff would join an existing one featuring Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser.
Fresh off his ACM nominations, we are hearing that Post Malone bought a horse named Ashtray. Paige Horses out in Amarilla, Texas posted on its Facebook page that Posty was one of its latest clients and congratulated him on his purchase.
