Netflix has acquired the new “Monopoly” competition series after a bidding war. The reality show will feature alliances and betrayals in a capitalist race. The series is part of Netflix’s strategy to develop unscripted content based on popular intellectual properties. The show is separate from the “Monopoly” feature film.
