Tom Cruise‘s “Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning” is officially headed to Cannes Film Festival. The highly anticipated 8th film in the spy franchise will premiere out of competition on May 14, with Tom and director-writer Christopher McQuarrie in attendance. It marks Tom’s third time at Cannes.
“Saturday Night Live” will be honored at the 85th annual Peabody Awards ceremony, June 1 in Beverly Hills. “SNL”, currently in its 50th season, will receive the Peabody Institutional Award. It joins programs such as “Star Trek”, “The Simpsons”, “60 Minutes”, and “Sesame Street”, all past recipients of the honor.
