The Weeknd has become the first artist to reach 100 million monthly listeners on Spotify. The Canadian superstar scored the biggest monthly listener count ever on the platform with 100.4 million, making him the no. 1 artist in the world on Spotify.
TikTok is trying to help parents control their kids’ screen time. The social media giant announced it would set a default 60-minute daily screen time limit to all accounts for young people under 18 years old. Of course, anyone can turn the setting off, but the move will require users to opt-out. If 60 minutes of screen time is reached, the user will get a message prompting them to put in a passcode to continue viewing. The new feature will roll out in the next few weeks.
Dark Star Pictures has acquired the rights to a doc examining horror master Stephen King and the films adapted from his books. ‘King on Screen’, according to ‘Deadline’ “offers audiences an intimate sit-down with directors who have adapted his work for the screen, looking at the movies and shows that have brought his body of work an entirely new life — both the ones that reached the top-tier echelons of pop culture history and those that fell by the wayside into obscurity.”
Bob Saget’s former L.A. home has finally found a buyer – a year after the comedian’s unexpected death. The 6-bedroom, 7-bath house sold off-market last week for $5.4 million. It was originally listed for $7.7 million last June but dropped down to $6.9mil 3 months later.

“Stranger Things” is getting an official play in London later this year. It takes place in 1959 in Hawkins, and will include young versions of characters Jim Hopper, Bob Newby, Joyce Maldonado, and Henry Creel (Vecna).
KISS announced the final leg of its “End of the Road Tour”. It kicks off in October and ends with back-to-back dates at Madison Square Garden. The band says they’re finishing, quote, “10 blocks and 50 years from where we first started.”
Justin Bieber canceled his entire Justice World Tour. He hasn’t given a reason why, but when he previously postponed dates it was to focus on his health.
Earlier this week, Tim McGraw used a playlist to tease a surprise that would be revealed on March 10th. Fans noticed that the playlist had a secret message that said “Standing Room Only” . . . and Tim couldn’t keep the secret any longer. Yesterday, he revealed that it’s a new song, and he asked fans to pre-save it.
Keith Urban, Little Big Town, Tim McGraw, and Lil Nas X are headlining the 2023 NCAA March Madness Music Festival. There will also be performances from Mickey Guyton and Maggie Rogers. The free ticketed three-day event takes place March 31st to April 2nd in Houston.

Ed Sheeran has announced that he will release the last album of his mathematical era, “Subtract (-)” on May 5th. He said in a press release that the acoustic album was written shortly after he discovered his pregnant wife had a tumor and his best friend died suddenly. The singer explained, “As an artist I didn’t feel like I could credibly put a body of work into the world that didn’t accurately represent where I am and how I need to express myself at this point in my life. This album is purely that. It’s opening the trapdoor into my soul. For the first time I’m not trying to craft an album people will like, I’m merely putting something out that’s honest and true to where I am in my adult life.”
Coldplay will release a special worldwide cinema presentation of their “Music Of The Spheres World Tour” concert, filmed during their sold out, ten night run at Buenos Aires’ River Plate stadium at the end of last year. The film includes a host of footage which wasn’t shown during the live broadcast, including an exclusive behind-the-scenes short film featuring new interviews with the band.
Halsey made their runway debut during Paris Fashion Week. The singer hit the catwalk for the Pressiat fall/winter 2023 show in an animal print gown Tuesday. She took to Instagram after to call the experience both “terrifying and amazing.”

Netflix has given a formal limited series order to “Zero Day”, a conspiracy thriller starring Robert De Niro. This is the first series regular television role for the star.
Adam Sandler will receive the King of Comedy award at the 2023 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. He told Variety, “I’ve had so many great times at this fantastic awards extravaganza, and I’ll always be excited to hang with da kiddies!! Love to all!”
