Liam Payne, former member of one of the best-selling boy bands of all-time, One Direction, has died at the age of 31. The English singer reportedly died after falling from his third-story hotel room in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The circumstances of the incident are still under investigation, including whether it was accidental or intentional.
Jay-Z’s Roc Nation and the National Football League will continue to work together. In a statement, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said the league “will continue to work with Roc Nation to produce the Super Bowl halftime show.” Roger said the partnership with Roc Nation has “been a mutually positive relationship.” Roc Nation and the NFL have worked together since 2019 on the annual Super Bowl halftime. Kendrick Lamar is the performer in 2025.
Judy Greer has joined “The Last Thing He Told Me” Season 2 in an undisclosed recurring role, our sister site Deadline reports. The gig will reunite Judy with her “13 Going on 30” castmate Jennifer Garner, who headlines the Apple TV+ series.
“The View” has canceled its annual fan-fave Halloween episode. Producer Brian Teta revealed on the “Behind the Table” podcast that the show will not roll out a 2024 Spooky Season installment. He said to Joy Behar: “This year, because it’s only a few days before the election and we need to be live, the hosts are not going to dress up for Halloween.”
Netflix announced a new “Sing” short, titled “Sing: Thriller”, set to premiere on Halloween. It features voice actors like Matthew McConaughey, Scarlett Johansson & Tori Kelly performing a Halloween-themed “Thriller” dance.
Sophia Bush will join “Grey’s Anatomy” season 21 as a trauma surgeon at Seattle Presbyterian Hospital and married to a cardiothoracic surgeon at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. She’ll debut in episode six airing on November 7.
A 6th ‘Jason Bourne’ movie is reportedly in development. The Matt Damon spy franchise has been quiet since the 2016 movie “Jason Bourne”, but a new listing from ProductionWeekly indicates that Universal Pictures is actively working on its next instalment, which is thought to be titled “The Bourne Dilemma”.
The Weeknd has become the first artist to have 20 different songs exceed the 1 billion streams mark on Spotify. His most popular tune is ‘Blinding Lights’, with over 4.5 billion streams.

Mattel is teaming up with Sony for what they’re calling, quote, “a four-quadrant family adventure,” whatever that means. And it’ll be live action. Mattel says, quote, “View-Master has inspired generations to embark on boundless adventures, offering a treasure trove of storytelling possibilities for this film.”
Kane Brown’s son Krewe was born back in June, but almost had a different name. He wanted to name him “Kasper” with a “K”. But his wife’s family laughed when he told them. So, they went with “Krewe” instead.
Seann William Scott joined ABC’s “Shifting Gears” with Tim Allen and Kat Dennings. The show follows a widowed classic car restoration shop owner as his estranged daughter and grandkids move in. Seann plays a family friend.
