Avant-garde director-writer David Lynch has died. He was 78. His family posted on Facebook, “There’s a big hole in the world now that he’s no longer with us. But, as he would say, ‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.” David created the television show “Twin Peaks” and movies such as “Blue Velvet”, “Eraserhead”, “The Elephant Man”, and “Mulholland Drive”.
Bob Uecker, affectionately known as “Mr. Baseball,” has passed away. He was 90. Bob turned a mediocre professional baseball career into fame after his playing days. He was an actor, starring in the “Major League” movies and the sitcom “Mr. Belvedere” in the 1980s.
