Tom Cruise can add a prestigious aeronautics medal to his long list of accomplishments. The star of “Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning” was honored with the Grande Medaille of the Aero-Club de France for his “significant contribution to the history of aviation and inspiring future pilots.” The medal is the highest distinction from the institution, which was created in 1898.
“The Bachelorette” is taking a break this year. ABC’s long-running reality dating show will skip its usual production cycle, which means Season 22 won’t premiere in July, as is usually the case. Don’t worry though, “The Bachelorette” hasn’t been canceled, although its return date hasn’t been set. Production on the show also skipped 2006 and 2007 entirely.
The Bruno Mars and ROSÉ smash hit ‘APT’ has officially reached one billion views on YouTube. Reaching the milestone just 105 days after its release in October, the song is the 5th fastest music video to hit one billion.
Production for Season 3 of “Euphoria” has started, with the main cast returning. A social media post confirmed the news. The season will consist of eight full-length episodes, following previous speculation about the show’s future.
Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime show led to a significant surge in his Spotify listenership. His diss track “Not Like Us” saw a 430% increase, while overall streaming for Lamar rose by 175%. “Humble” increased by 300%.
Chris Martin was among the performers at the opening ceremonies of the 2025 Invictus Games in Vancouver. Others who lent their talents to the event at B.C. Place Stadium included Katy Perry, Noah Kahan and Nelly Furtado. Chris has been involved with the Games since they were founded by Prince Harry in 2014, and composed the ‘Invictus Anthem’, used in the medal ceremonies.
Prince’s estate has convinced Netflix to cancel the release of a 6-part Prince documentary directed by Ezra Edelman. The streamer said it will work with Prince’s estate to develop “a new documentary featuring exclusive content from Prince’s archive”. Prince’s people had claimed a first cut of the original film was filled with “dramatic” factual inaccuracies.”
Timothée Chalamet has landed on the Billboard Album chart thanks to the soundtrack to the Bob Dylan biopic “A Complete Unknown”. The album, which features Timothée performing, debuted at #17 on the Billboard soundtracks chart. It is also at #44 on the Top Album Sales chart.
Neil Young’s music will be celebrated with the new tribute album “Heart of Gold: The Songs of Neil Young”, out April 25. Those paying tribute include The Doobie Brothers’ Michael McDonald with Allison Russell, Eddie Vedder, Brandi Carlile, Mumford & Sons, Lumineers, Fiona Apple, and more.
The 2025 CMT Music Awards aren’t happening. The long-running country music awards show faces an unclear future as Paramount merges with Skydance Media. A memo acquired by Hollywood Reporter from the president of Paramount indicates the show is being paused as the company looks to “reimagine and optimize our events slate going forward.”
Beyoncé has added five new tour dates to her “Cowboy Carter” tour! The 22-date tour will kick off in April in Los Angeles and run through July. The new tour dates include five extra stadium dates including a fifth and sixth night in London and a third night in Chicago, Paris, and Atlanta.
The Philadelphia Eagles are getting Funko’d. Off their Super Bowl win, the Eagles have been made into Funko dolls. Fans can purchase the five-pack of Eagles players for $100 at Fanatics.com. Noah Kahan will release a 2-LP vinyl version of his album “Live From Fenway Park” on March 7. It’s available for preorder now and comes in several different colors. Released in 2024, the album documents his sold-out shows in Boston, which he described as “the greatest 2 nights of my life.” It features a collab with Gracie Abrams on ‘Everywhere, Everything.’
Post Malone and Travis Barker have teamed up to record a Nirvana cover album. April 12, Postie will drop “Post Malone Tribute to Nirvana”, an exclusive vinyl Record Store Day 14-track tribute to the rock band, with profits going to MusiCares’ Addiction Recovery/Mental Health division.
Kane Brown was asked to list the “coolest” celeb numbers he has stored in his phone. His answer, “We’ll go with Mello (Marshmello), or (Jason) Aldean. Kane worked with Marshmello in 2019 on the collab ‘One Thing Right’ and has toured with Jason.
After performing for millions watching the Super Bowl, Kendrick Lamar and SZA are adding more dates to their “Grand National Tour”. If you want to see the show internationally, you can travel overseas to see the new concerts. Starting in July, Kendrick and SZA will visit the U.K., France, the Netherlands, and Spain.

The 2025 Super Bowl set a record for the largest audience in history, with an average of 126 million viewers tuning in to watch the Philadelphia Eagles face off against the Kansas City Chiefs. This marked a 2% increase from the previous year’s broadcast.
Lainey Wilson is crossing genres with Myles Smith! After teasing she had a special collab coming, Lainey shared a snippet on Instagram in a joint post with Myles Smith. The two teamed up for a revamped version of the UK pop singer’s much-loved 2024 single, “Nice to Meet You.” The duet drops this Friday, February 10.
